A now annual event very popular with teachers is the Leaving Cert Applied festival of french food and drink . Staff are invited to come along and sample a selection of french produce and dishes prepared and presented by the LCA students .

After seventeen regional heats and two semi-finals, the Poetry Aloud final for 2013 took place on Friday 6th December.
