Colaiste Iosagain Win Third Prize In National Mental Health Event .

On Friday 20 April members of our Amber Committee traveled to St Patrick’s Hospital Dublin, for the Walk in my Shoes, Mission Possible Awards,

We had been shortlisted nationally with six other schools following our application to the competition.

In it we outlined our 2017/2018 ‘Lotus Programme which has been designed to optimise and support our students growth and development in body, speech and mind (the lotus flower) as they flourish above life’s daily challenges (muddy waters).

The programme has implemented a number of projects during the year, The Rise and Rave, Resilience Day, Empower Your Voice and our Just Breathe Campaign which will be launched in the coming weeks.

On the day Coláiste Íosagáin was announced in third place.

We are very proud of the achievements of the staff and students in our school to educate each other and promote positive mental health and well being in our school community.
