State Exam Rules
Coláiste Iosagáin
• All students are encouraged to stay in for the entire length of their exam. Leaving early disrupts the other students in the room.
• Full uniform is required during the state exams
• It is your responsibility to note the relevant details of your exam timetable. Highlight your exam times and double check.
• Students are not permitted to stay in the school corridors while exams are in progress. In order to protect the integrity of the exams, any student who does leave an exam early must leave the school immediately after and picked up by a parent.
• Areas that are forbidden during exam times include the back of the school at the PE hall and also outside the front gates as there are rooms used as exam centres here, Room 7,8, 9,10,11 and 15.
• Parents will receive a text to inform them of this the day before.
• Students are not permitted to bring a mobile phone or a smart watch into the exam centre. They must be turned off and handed to the exam attendant outside for the duration of the exam
• Be on time. Arrive at least 15 minutes early for each exam. Half an hour early on the first day.
• Be prepared – Calculator, pencils, colours, spare pens Black and Blue pen ONLY!

• Students can study in the canteen in between exams
• Students in Coláiste Iosagáin are expected to be polite and co operative to the superintendents and the room attendants assigned to their exam centre.
